Ronan Levy, Founder & CEO

An entrepreneur and a visionary, Ronan is one the founders of Field Trip. Concurrent with his work at Field Trip, he is a partner at Grassfed Ventures, a venture capital and advisory firm focused on the cannabis and biotech industries and is Chief Strategy Officer and Member of the Board of Directors for Trait Biosciences Inc., a leading biotech company in the hemp and cannabis industries. Prior to his current roles, Ronan (along with Joseph, Hannan and Ryan) co-founded Canadian Cannabis Clinics and CanvasRx Inc., the latter of which was acquired by Aurora Cannabis Inc. (NYSE: ACB) in 2016, after which he served as Senior Vice President, Business and Corporate Affairs for Aurora. A lawyer by training, Ronan started his career as a corporate lawyer at Blake, Cassels Graydon LLP and Legal Counsel at CTVglobemedia Inc. (now Bell Media Inc.) He holds a Juris Doctor and a Bachelor of Commerce degree, both from the University of Toronto.

Mujeeb Jafferi, Founder & President

Mujeeb is an experienced management professional and founder of Field Trip Ventures. Most recently, Mujeeb served as Vice President of Sales Strategy and Operations at Just Energy Inc. () and President of its Solar Energy division. He has held senior leadership roles in areas of corporate finance, operations, strategy and business development at Just Energy and SunEdison Inc. He serves as an adviser to Aptitude360, an innovative customer acquisition and communication startup based out of Toronto. Mujeeb received his bachelor’s in Information Technology Management from York University and a Global Professional Master of Laws from Faculty of Law at the University of Toronto.

Ms. Wong is a financial growth expert with over 20 years of experience within private start-ups and public multi-national organizations, primarily in the technology sector. She has a proven track record in establishing the necessary corporate infrastructure to scale through change management, IT, and cross-functional collaboration among multi-location businesses. Prior to her current role, as VP, Finance of ViXS Systems, Ms. Wong guided the company from pre-revenue to $100 million in revenues and eventual listing on the TSX. Ms. Wong is a CPA, CA, CMA and holds a Master of Accounting and Honours Bachelor of Arts degrees from the University of Waterloo.

Amardeep Manhas, Chief Technology Officer

Amardeep is a seasoned business technology and operations executive with 15 years of experience across a variety of industries. Prior to joining Field Trip, he was VP Operations at Crius Energy, overseeing the buildout of a proprietary multi-party software platform and the back-office support organization for Crius’s solar division. Prior to Crius, he oversaw technology and operations at the cleantech startup LightWing, Inc, which was fully acquired by SunEdison in 2015. He also held several senior roles at the energy retailer Just Energy prior to 2014, where he oversaw both large business and technology organizations. Amardeep holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering Physics from Queen’s University.

Vicki Reed, Chief Growth Officer

Originally hailing from Eugene, Oregon and the University of Oregon – Vicki started her marketing career at another homegrown Oregon entity, Nike. Her career trajectory spanned sports and fitness to fashion to technology-based fitness and beyond with companies such as Tommy Hilfiger, LVMH, Peloton, and eventually her own consulting company working on a variety of successful start-up and early-stage companies. During these years, Vicki also returned to school to pursue her personal interests and earned a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at Teacher’s College Columbia in 2018 and then entered a post-graduate licensure program for Psychoanalysis. Vicki is on track to be a licensed psychotherapist in 2023.

Most recently, Vicki joined Field Trip Health as Chief Growth Officer, a company at a forefront of development in psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy – a move that positions Vicki at the intersection of both her personal and professional development.
